Summer Sunset Track and Field Meet

The cost is $20 for up to 3 events.

Races start at 5:30 - If there are multiple heats, heats will run slower to faster.

The last race in each event will be comprised of Redhawk Cross Country and Track and Field Alumni

Beach Day 4x400m Relay - Teams of 4 race 1 lap each around the track in their best beach wear! Batons must be sunscreen

100/110m Hurdles - on the home stretch

Little Racers (4-8 years old) 50m Dash - on the Back Stretch (FREE - no registration needed)

Timing

Palatine Pack Timing will provide Fully Automatic Timing (FAT) services for the entire meet. All results except the Beginner events will be published after the meet on Athletic.net and included in an athlete’s online profile.

ATHLETE ENTRY FEE: $51.00 per athlete for Multi-Events $51.00 per athlete for Track & Field regardless of the number of events

CELEBRATION OF ATHLETES: The Celebration of Athletes will be held on Monday, August 2, 2021

TENTS: Tents, sport-brellas, tarps and other shading devices will not be permitted in the stadium. There is a designated tent area adjacent to the track. Tents left overnight are not the responsibility of the AAU, Harris Country-Houston Sports Authority or Humble High School.

COOLERS: Only credentialed athletes and coaches will be allowed to bring personal use coolers inside the stadium. Anyone with medical needs will be allowed as well. Size limitations may be in effect for coolers. Additional information will be posted online prior to the event. Coolers are subject to search as are all other bags, jackets, etc.

The top sixteen (16) finishers in each individual ,relay and multi-event shall advance from the District Qualifier to the Regional Qualifier. Competitors shall only advance from the District Qualifier in to the Regional Qualifier in the events that they actually competed and qualified at the District level. Districts may be granted a waiver from conducting a District qualifying meet by the AAU Track and Field Executive Committee if petitioned by the District Sport Director.
